Held on Feb 24, 2024, at the Hilbert Circle Theatre, Circumpunct members were treated with a performance in the sacred and the profane with Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms and Orff’s Carmina Burana. The text of Carmina, written by medieval monks, celebrated dancing, drinking, spring, gambling, and other worldly pleasures. The famous “O Fortuna” chorus reminds us that fate will always have her final say.
