Saturday, March 28 – The 2026 DC Scottish Rite Reunion was a powerful gathering of fellowship, growth, and tradition. It was an honor to welcome a new Circumpunct Lodge No. 777 brother and share in the continued journey together in Washington, D.C. Congratulations to Bro. Dennis Huff, 32° on attaining “Master of the Royal Secret”, a mark of both achievement and responsibility within the Scottish Rite tradition.

The Scottish Rite Southern Jurisdiction is considered masonically esoteric because its degrees emphasize symbolic, philosophical, and allegorical teachings that require personal interpretation rather than literal understanding. Influenced heavily by Albert Pike, particularly in Morals and Dogma, the system presents layered symbols drawn from philosophy, religion, and ancient traditions to explore moral and spiritual truths.
