Our First Symposium: A Meaningful Beginning

Sunday, April 19, 2026 – Hosting our inaugural symposium was a true milestone—12 hours of fellowship, brotherhood, and deeply engaging education.

The day began with registration and breakfast, graciously hosted by the members of Circumpunct Lodge No. 777, followed by a guided meditation from Brother Jonah Butler that set a thoughtful tone. Brother Joe Jenkins then welcomed attendees and formally opened the day’s program.

A series of insightful presentations followed, beginning with Brother Butler’s “Laboring in the Temple: The Middle Pillar of the Masonic Lodge,” and continuing with Worshipful Brother Turner England’s “The Discipline of Light.” Each session built upon the last, creating a cohesive and enriching experience.

We paused for a shared meal prepared by Worshipful Brother Derek Cheek, whose generosity ensured everyone was well cared for. Special thanks also to Peggy Hittle for providing desserts that added a thoughtful touch to both lunch and dinner.

The afternoon featured distinguished guest speakers, including Worshipful Brother Kevin Fuller and Brother Nathan Norris, whose presentations explored deeper symbolic and esoteric dimensions of the craft. A panel discussion and social hour followed, allowing for reflection and meaningful conversation.

We are especially grateful to the Social Order of the Beauceant for their exceptional hospitality and support during the Festive Board.

This symposium marked the beginning of something significant, and we look forward to building on its success in the years ahead.
